The formation of AEW was announced on January 1, 2019,[1][2] with the promotion holding its inaugural event, Double or Nothing, which doubled as its inaugural PPV event, on May 25.[3] Double or Nothing is regarded as AEW's marquee event;[4] furthermore, AEW President and Chief Executive Officer Tony Khan referred to Double or Nothing, All Out, Full Gear, and Revolution as being the promotion's "big four" PPVs, their four biggest shows of the year produced quarterly.[5] From March 2020 to July 2021, the majority of AEW's events were held at Daily's Place in Jacksonville, Florida due to the COVID-19 pandemic. AEW began readmitting a limited number of fans in August 2020 and then ran full capacity shows in May 2021 before the promotion returned to live touring in mid-July.

AEW is set for its next PPV endeavor. The promotion, which only hosts a few of these events per year, heads to Las Vegas on Sunday night for Double or Nothing with a cavalcade of matches in tow to get fans amped up.


That is only two of the four championship matches on the card to go along with the two Owen Hart Memorial Cup finals matches and a host of other intriguing matchups. Plus, some extra attention will be on MJF after he allegedly did not show up to a fan event in the week leading up to the PPV. He's expected to face Wardlow in one of the marquee events of the evening.


AEW was originally scheduled to run at the Toyota Arena on June 10, 2020 before the event had to be canceled due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. On February 1, AEW announced the launch of their live events series titled AEW House Rules. Their first house show of the series will take place on Saturday, March 18, in Troy, Ohio. Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Britt Baker, Darby Allin, and Orange Cassidy are advertised, and tickets will go on sale on February 3.


These non-televised, live events will showcase an electrifying mix of matchups featuring the stars of AEW. Each event offers an even more immersive experience for fans, including customized merchandise, unique ways to engage with featured talent and in-show interactions different from what is featured on televised AEW programming.


AEW previously held The House Always Wins, its first house show, in April 2021. WWE Hall of Famer Jeff Jarett joined the company in November, and he was named the Director of Business Development. Freeman Coliseum is a sports and concert venue located in San Antonio, Texas. It has been host to thousands of events including the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo, concerts, trade shows, motor sports, circus, professional sports including professional bull riding, basketball, hockey, boxing and wrestling.


AEW tickets will generally start in the $30 to $70 range for an episode of AEW Dynamite. The average price of All Elite Wrestling tickets for an episode of Dynamite is around $100 to $120. Pay-per-view events like AEW Double or Nothing will be more expensive to attend with the average ticket price being around $140.


All Elite Wrestling ticket prices for currently scheduled events are starting as low as $34.00 with the most expensive prices ranging up to $9660.00. The average price to attend an All Elite Wrestling event is around $280.00. The next All Elite Wrestling: Ring Of Honor - Supercard of Honor event is scheduled to take place on March 31st, 2023 at 4:00pm and there 12 tickets currently available on TicketSmarter. Galen Center at 3400 S. Figueroa St. , Los Angeles, CA will host the event with ticket prices in the range of $84.00 to $88.00.


The AEW schedule occurs year-round with no offseason. The stars and wrestlers in AEW will wrestle every Wednesday night in front of live audiences on Dynamite. AEW pay-per-view events take place three to five times throughout the year on Saturday nights. The highlights of the AEW PPV schedule include Revolution in late February, Double or Nothing on Memorial Day weekend, All Out on Labor Day weekend and Full Gear in early December.


AEW events place a large focus on in-ring action with five to six matches occurring on weekly episodes of Dynamite and nine to 11 matches occurring on AEW PPV events. Fans that attend AEW Dynamite will also get to see dark matches taped for their Youtube show AEW Dark. This gives the live audience a full card of matches to enjoy and more bang for their buck!


23 events are currently listed on the All Elite Wrestling calendar. All Elite Wrestling: House Rules is placed towards the end of the current schedule. Fans wishing to attend the event on July 15th, 2023 at 7:30pm can grab one of the remaining 2868 tickets available for a price between $55.00 and $1126.00. Scotiabank Saddledome at 555 Saddledome Rise SE, Calgary, AB will be the host arena for this highly-anticipated event!


All Elite Wrestling events take place in arenas throughout the United States. The AEW seating chart features seven-floor seating sections surrounding the ringside area and the entrance ramp. In addition to the floor seating, there is also a horseshoe seating arrangement in the lower and upper bowls in order to make room for the large video board and entryway. Some of the arenas that have hosted episodes of AEW Dynamite and various All Elite Wrestling pay-per-view events include Royal Farms Arena, Sears Centre Arena, Daily's Place Amphitheater and Wintrust Arena.

ROH's Honor Club streaming platform has officially relaunched, featuring more than 2,500 hours of premium professional wrestling content dating back to 2002, with new weekly television episodes coming soon to the platform. The relaunched platform features updated functionality, where fans will be able to enjoy thousands of hours of Ring of Honor content including classic matches from the full ROH television archive and hundreds of pay-per-views and special events.


On May 25, 2019, AEW produced their first ever pay-per-view (PPV), Double or Nothing. It took place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, and saw the debut of Jon Moxley. The event earned positive reviews from critics including Canadian Online Explorer, CBS Sports, ESPN, Pro Wrestling Torch, Pro Wrestling Dot Net and WrestleView, with the last three matches earning the most praise. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter wrote that "after just one show", AEW is already "the hottest non-WWE force in the U.S. pro wrestling business in more than 20 years". On September 19, 2019, TNT's website listed AEW show's as AEW Dynamite, a one-hour preview show was also scheduled for October 1 at 8 PM.


AEW releases a "Road to..." and "Countdown to..." series of videos on its official YouTube channel prior to Dynamite and pay-per-view events. The videos consist of interviews, video packages, and backstage segments. The series is used to hype pre-existing matches, as well as create new rivalries.
